Hike through 510 acres of restored land at Mequon Nature Preserve! Explore the wetlands, prairies, and forests and look for various flora and fauna species that call MNP home. You will get the chance to learn about the restoration efforts MNP has accomplished over the past 25 years. This hike will be led by Ecological Restoration Manager, Nick Gall. The hike will be up to 2 miles long in various terrains. Please dress in closed toed shoes, appropriate hiking clothing, and bring water and binoculars. The trails vary from grass, mud, gravel, and mulch with some slight inclines. MNP does have some adaptive equipment (off road wheelchairs) that can be used for this hike if necessary. Please reach out to staff ahead of the event to reserve.
